    Guinea pig?
Who? me? That has come up before. But honestly when I was offered the chance to be part of the MDX trial, I felt more like I was given a heads up to the winning numbers to a lottery. I had a 1 in 3 chance of having the right combination. AND I WON! Now I just wonder how long this trip will last...I will have a good weekend and week to come. A bike night tomorrow, 200 mile ride planned for saturday. Weather permitting, a Volkswagen show sunday. Next week I intend to continue work on the rebuild of my 1970 VW camper. I don't want to even think about cancer next week! Maybe I'll munch on some rice cakes.

    How was bike ride?
    So Fox,
Were you able to get out for a ride yesterday? You need to get out as much as possible with winter creeping up on the north country. Congrats on #15 and good riding!

    good ride
Thanks Ed. Yes, some friends and I got our ride in. Beautiful weather with no rain! You cannot beat New England in the fall. It doesn't take long to get out of the cities and onto our scenic roads. There are no long rides planned the rest of the year but now I will enjoy travelling the back roads. As the leaves drop, visibility allows for nice peeks into our landscape and a chance to view horse ranches, farms, colonial homes and classic New England. Love it. I never put my bike away in the winter like some do. I can always get some rides in as long as the roads are clear.
