Body scan

in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1
A friend who had ovarian cancer had a complete body scan to rule out cancer elsewhere. Can we have this done?

    Depends on your dr. I have had two partial MRI's in my over three year journey. I am not the best one to answer...just know that my dr. doesn't like to use any radiation she doesn't have to. best, debra

    My dr did a ct scan after
    My dr did a chest,abdominal, pelvic ct scan after chemo.

    I had it, but my cancer was found out by accident while having a partial hysterectomy for fibroids. The uterus was morcellated and it was impossible to tell how deep the tumor went. Because of this my Dr wanted to get a full picture of what was going on.
