My husband, who will soon be 70, still plays softball. Last night was the final playoff game of the fall season. His team won the championship and he was awarded a trophy/plaque for being the MVP this season. He was really excited and surprised but of course I know that he deserved it.
He has been playing in the senior league (over 50) for 20 years and as long as he is healthy I am sure he will keep on playing. I have supported him over all the years and rarely missed a game.
He was my rock and support when I was in treatment for which I am truly grateful.

Hugs,
Georgia

    Hi Georgia,
Your husband ROCKS, as well as being your rock. Good for him. Hope he can continue to play another 20 years!!!

    Great story, Georgia.

My bff (also Georgia) husband plays, too. He's 63. I had no idea there was a league like this, but it seems quite big in our neck of the woods.

    Congratulations.
