Grandbaby arrives !

Hey everyone !
Emily arrived at 1:30 this afternoon, and is beautiful ! 7lbs 6ozs and a head full of hair ! Posted a picture under my expressions....tried to here, but didn't work. I cried and smiled all at the same time. It's moments like this that make all the fight worth the effort ! My daughter did wonderful...and Momma and baby are doing fine ! Katie

    I'm so happy for you and your family. The good news just keeps getting better! Enjoy the smell of that new baby, I so miss that!

    I agree, all the pain it worth it just to see them. My fifth grandchild was born two months and I am just so glad to be here to see her grow.

    I have no grandbabies yet, and I better not have for some time seeing as my daughter is only 13!!!! LOL>

    You all have become like a second family, and it was a privilage to share a bit of wonderful news with you. I can't wait for Christmas this year, as I missed it in the hospital last year. My primary is such a great guy....when he said he was gonna schedual my next colonoscopy in 2014, then looked at me with tears and said... and they said you only had a few years left, guess we'll show them up hunh Kate ! Then I got a giant bear hug. Yeah life is good, and we can live it to the fullest ! Thinking of you all ! Katie

    Yes, Grannie, this is outrageous news! A newborn? Another person brought into this world with so much future and so much time- told to us oldtimers with so many battle scars, however much time, and SO MUCH history...anybody know a statute of limitations website? Uh, I mean, uh...the perfect circle of life, Kate, is a wonderful thing, and I truly do thank you for sharing your great news with us. God bless the child, and bless you, too, Kate.

    Being a grandparent is the best. I have 4 year old twin grandsons and our little princess is going to be 2 months on Tuesday. Best medicine! Enjoy.
