in Breast Cancer #1
On july 27 i had a lumperctomy with three nodules removal which were negative but my prog and est is negative as well. i have four more to go and im so afraid that the cancer might come back. i have radiation next.

    Not sure what type of BC you were diagnosed with. I am sorry about your diagnosis. It's not easy learning that you have breast cancer.

    I was diagnosed a year ago and understand the fright. I went through a lumpectomy and then a second surgery to get clean margins. Nodes were clean too. I did the radiation (38 of them) and now take Arimidex. My cancer is hormone driven. Is yours the same? What stage?

    This group of ladies can get you through anything. We help each other in ways most people can never do. Welcome to our group and feel free to share with us.

    I know how scary this whole thing can be. I had my lumpectomy on July 13th with three nodes also removed.
    I started chemo two weeks ago and will need radation after that. My best advice to you is to take it one day at a time. Know your are in good hands with your team of doctors and that they will do everything that needs to be done to make sure it doesn't come back.
