Looking for a surgeon in the Dallas or Houston area

Hi, I usually post in the Esophagus Cancer discussion board but I have a friend looking for a surgeon for her mom. Her mom was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma. She lives in the Dallas area and is looking for a surgeon. She also has family in the Houston area so either location would work. Please let me know if you have one you could recommend or any that she should stay away from. Thanks for your help!

    MD Anderson
I can't recommend any surgeon in particular, but MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is one of the best cancer hospitals in the country. I would start there. Best wishes.

    MD ANDERSON
I second NYC_girl's suggestion. MD Anderson is the place to go. A world class cancer institution.

    Surgeon
My observation over the years has been that most "surgeons" doing these procedures are specially trained Urologists and are part of or were trained by the Urology Deparments in these leading Medical Centers and Cancer Institutes.
