green smoothies maybe help with loose stools
Thats what I try to have daily, so I make my juice 1 arrot, celery stick and half beet.

    So cup above juice,
    13 soaked almond,
    Tsp cacao
    Tsp cinnamon,
    Teaspoonmacca
    Lots of green leaves.
    Mabe cilantro, kale, palsy.

    I blend and drink.
I also some times add a frozen bananana.

    Hugs,
    Pete

    Wheatgrass?
    Hi,
I'm not too sure on how to buy or consume wheatgrass? Is there a simple way of getting it?
Thank you so much. I am not a juicer, yet.

    welcome so worried
I just bought some good quality seed from local organic sho, which sells wheat grass by the shot.
    Soak overnight in water.
Put some organic potting mix on a tray.
    Water daily.
Two weeks later I have fields of green.

Cut a handful of grass and juice.

    Goodluck and be well,

    Hugs,
    Pete

Ps it's fun and Google it

I wish that someone had told
I wish that someone had told me how nasty wheatgrass tasted before I tasted it and that I would need to buy an extra case of toilet tissue when I increased the number of raw veggies in my diet. Warning-do not walk behind me.

    Wheatgrass cubes
We have a wonderful healthfood store that sells frozen cubes of wheatgrass (from Canada?)

I know its not the same as gowing fresh for juicers but it is convenient to take e/am or add to smoothies.

    I don't have a juicier but a blender.

Have been experimenting with protein powders lately. Not my favorite.

    me too
come on ketziah, a you think whetgrss is bad, try adding bitter melon and coriandor.
actually my wheatgrass is sweet and tasty. i mist be the fact that i grow it with love, or i have destroyed my taste buds in the previous few months. who knows but the science behind wheatgrass is complelling for me.

personally i prefer in the yoga squat in the good old potty.
and baby wipes for the explosive part of the business.

    hugs,
    pete

    think positive barb dear
sufficient protein is essential, so i view those tasteless powders as essential, so add them to an organic carrot and beetroot drink. i do.

    Juicing
    Hey Pete,

I too have a Champion Juicer but do not have the grasses/greens attachment. I force parsley through it but it certainly doesn't like it ~ I am glad you shared this post about the grass attachment...I will have to look into the cost, etc.

I follow the carrot, green apple, red beet, parsley and fresh ginger routine. Sometimes I change it up and add spinach too, but I like to eat that so I usually save that for salads.
I haven't added cilantro...will have to try that. One day I experimented with mustard greens...oh boy, that was just terrible...

Thanks for the advice and enjoy the fields of green!

    "Minnesotagirl"

    Kale
Try adding kale to the mix you have.

    why torture yourself
As my oncology nutritionist says - don't waste calories on something you do not enjoy!

Add something in to make the taste better. You can add wheatgrass to other combos that would be palatable.

Where is a good place to
Where is a good place to start if I am new to juicing. Everything I read about it is really good. I heard the Nutribullet is a good product for juicing - anyone use this one?

I am CC 3b with 3 nodes and with no mets. On Tuesday I am scheduled for chemo 12 of 12 (Yeah). My focus no is switching from chemo mode to nutrition mode.

    All help appreciated.
