I'm at 10 weeks after THE surgery...
And I regurgitate a couple times a day. I too am trying to figure out what is normal or how long this will go on. I normally experience the worse when i first wake up and after a meal. Frequently its just mucus, some times it's food. Usually I get air trapped in the gastric tube so I start to cough to try to get the air out. In the last few days there has been improvement that it's just the air belching but I still have instances where the coughing triggers a full dry heave or vomit episode.

I'm trying to eat slower and chew more thoroughly. I'm lucky if I get a few ounces of food down in a meal, so I'm trying to eat every few hours as suggested but I still don't have a lot of appetite.

It will be interesting what you find out.

    I've had several endoscopies
I've had several endoscopies since the surgery. I had developed a leak in the throat which turned into a fistula. The surgeon was doing weekly checks and now bi-weekly to make sure scar tissue isn't forming. So far everything has been good.

The cough has gotten better in the last week but it would be interesting to know if it will eventually go away.
