I bet you'd look hot in leathers Alice, but please don't risk the elegant and sophisticated lady we've all grown to love (not that I'm suggesting for one moment that you're not elegant and sophisticated, Fox!).

    Path report
    Long time to reply, sorry.

    Report says:
    Clear Cell
    4.0 x 3.0 x 3.0
    Grade 2-3/4
    Margins Free
Does not involve the perirenal fat

The comment was: "Although most of the tumor demonstrates ... nuclear grade 2, focal areas of the tumor contain cells with features of Fuhrman nuclear grade 3."

Doc says 95% likely that I am in the clear for good at this point.

You will definitely enjoy the rides. I started riding again at 5-weeks post-op. Short rides were fine. At about 12-weeks, I went on a motorcycle camping trip about 320 miles from home. I have to admit that I found that to be almost too much, no pain just tired. I was much more exhausted after that trip than I was last year. I think it will take 6-months to a year to get full energy and stamina back.

Fortunately at that rally, I was able to get a massage and it really helped. I went for a short 130 mile ride on Saturday and did the most distance I've ever done on gravel roads, about 14 miles.

A couple of weeks ago, I was on vacation in New York and did a couple hundred mile trip from near Ithaca to Lake George area at about 4 months post-op. It was wonderful.

Take care and enjoy the ride, but remember to take it slow and easy for time on the bike. Short rides should not be too much of a problem.
