    Rachel, sorry for asking,
Rachel, sorry for asking, but are you on Xeloda alone or a combo with avastin?? That's great news....sorry for the question I just started on this drug and am questioning my decision. I need to hear anything positive on this drug that I can read right now!!! Honestly I wish I had asked my oncologist to put me on this a few months ago, like 4 months ago when scans were stable would have been good!!!

Thank you! I hope that this continues. I don't like the thought of 6 months of chemo but 1.5 months are down. Talk of possible liver resection in that one area that come and goes on the pet. Big surgery, but my ONC is very pro active.

Just got off my 12 hours at work, and have to be up in 3 hours to take Mom to the doctor....

    I wish you all well!

Great news. Are you still following your juicing regime as well? I remember reading quite a bit about you juicing and using natural food supplements as one of your "guns" during this journey.
    Wonderful news...so happy for you!

I am having shakes for a meal or a snack. Lots of berries, coconut milk, and veggies I smooothie up a berry, apple, banana and spinach smooth. I totally changed the way I eat. Hardly any beef or pork. I have 3 tiny corn tortillas and light cheese and spinach for lunch, the girls at the office laugh at me. I don't do the supplements while on chemo and I did stop them for a bit and that is when my CEA went up, coincidence maybe but I went back on Turmeric, Milk thistle and very strong green tea. My ONC does think that my diet is helping my immune system fight this monster... Since my CEA went up, I'm not having any alcohol at all. Try not to do sweets, because i crave them now and I never did before, ever. My ONC said in moderation, but this cancer is evil, and make you want more then you should have. I can see its mouth gulping the sugar. No way! ;)

I won't let up on my diet or supplements after this. I will also continue staying active. I have some stressful things going on in regards to my last employment, so I try and keep myself motivated and not let those thoughts consume my thoughts.

Juicing is great, and I do have one now and then....... I will start to add more often. I am working 12/6 now and it's hard to fit it all in. I think we make excuses and we shouldn't, it's our life. I never liked the mess the pulp made but I learned to put a small garbage bag in the juicer. Take Care....and thank you
