Hippocrates Center program Florida

Dear Warriorettes,
Hopefully Rad treatment over Tuesday next and we're scheduled to be on the ten hour direct flight to NY. My sister's youngest is marrying on the Fourth. Just heard a lecture on Hippocrates Center in Florida. What have you guys head about it. Did any of you go? Raw food, wheat grass mind body, expensive, but I will be ,between' Tx. Finished rad, can't check where new buggers have grown for two months, cause all of body would light ou from Pet CT till after two months.
Don't feel like throwing away money.
Can sit by sea on East Coast and veg out with sea and Kindle.
Looking forward to hearing your points of view.
P.s. I'm Stage IV grade III Endometrial clear Adenocarcinoma with three recurrences since Dx July 2010, recurrences while under chemo. Rad was second time in four months, first in Pelvic area which shrunk, this time three areas, supra clavicular, aortic area near stomach, and stomach wall.

Thanks and be well,
Chaya Sara

    I don't know this program
but I've been following some aspects of it--the raw food (to an extent), the wheatgrass--off and on for a while. I've been doing very well, but of course it's difficult to tell what's responsible for my improvement since I'm using so many techniques.
Cancer treatments and recovery are very idiosyncratic. If it's not a long retreat--maybe a week or less?--then it might be worth checking out. Think about how you truly feel, and trust your instincts.
Fingers and toes crossed for better outcomes for you soon, Chaya Sara. Congratulations on your family wedding next week!

    Up all night with decision
    Thanks for encouragement.
Been doing pretty much Servan Schreiber, Anti Cancer.
Eat mostly vegs, brown bread, rice organic.ordered from Amazon Raw Veg cookbook, doing Tumeric, pepper and olive oil. Cut down on eggs. Once a week organic chicken leg. Well maybe twice. Fish cut down to once a week. Loved Sushi is that considered RW?
Cut down on dairy only goat milk product swhen I have them.
Decided my Orthodox Religious observance, Jewish, is tough enough and woul dnot be able to sustain Hew Raw Religion for more than the one week of raw wheatgrass only diet. Will take that money and will insert more raw, yoga ,massages, wanna learn Spanish, do swim daily, will add walking machine too or another swim.
Kids coming to visit us in States during the two month hiatus, don't want to be too alien in my ability to join them for meals, though they don't know it yet but there will be a lot more raw than BBQ.
    Thanks for support.
    Praying I making right decision,
    Chaya Sara

Wheatgrass ONLY? No, not a good idea
It's medicinal and all that, but only wheatgrass for a week? No. Not healthy for anyone.

Besides, have you ever tasted wheatgrass? Most people find it extremely disagreeable. When I was doing a cleanse, I had about 3 oz a day (1 oz, 3 times/day) and that was difficult to tolerate. But we also had a fair amount of raw food besides. I can't imagine trying to get by for a whole week only on wheatgrass. I'd be sneaking out for chocolate sundaes after two days (and I'm not all that crazy about chocolate).

I think you made the right decision, Chaya Sara. Your diet sounds basically good to me. Enjoy your grandchildren (?), breathe deeply, laugh as much as you possibly can. Study Spanish!

Hugs to you. Best wishes for your increasing health!

Three more days of Radiation and then We're off to the States.
Someone wrote about Block Institute in Chicago for alternative medicine. I read some of their stuff but seems to be for side effects. Did I get That wrong?
Thanks again for input and output ;-)
