Thank you for thinking of us. Our youngest daughter just graduated this weekend and we're planning a party for her next weekend, so that along with me working tons of overtime have made for some very hectic times as of late. One of Tina's mile stones was to see our baby graduate. Done phewww!! On to the next grand children. None in the oven or even planned yet tho.

Things with Tina are not going so well. She has not been able to get treatments the last two times and that's with me giving her Nupragen shots 5 days in a row for last weeks attempt. I will be giving her shots again towards the end of this week to hopefully get her counts up enough this time. I'm afraid if they decide she needs a chemo break that the prognosis will not be a good one. She just had a endoscopy/colonoscapy this past week due to constant back abdomen pain and having a full feeling every time she eats no mater how much it is. The Dr said her stomach looked irritated and took what he said were routine biopsies but as I ask around I have found two people here at work that have had one and people who know of people who have had one and the Dr did not do biopsies so don't know what to make of that. Again thanks for thinking of us Monika

Oh and I have tried to get her to post but she just won't. She only wants to know what she asks myself or her ONC about. I understand I guess. My answers are usually sugar coated big time and his answers lightly touch on what she asks if you know what I mean.

    THANK YOU, DAVE
For taking the time to fill us in. I know you have a lot on your plate.

How wonderful that you and Tina are able to celebrate your daughter's graduation! But I'm so sorry Tina isn't feeling well. I hope you get the results from the biopsies soon. Seems like there's always something to 'hurry up and wait' for.

I totally understand why Tina wouldn't want to visit here. So glad she has you to buffer the tough times.

My congrats to your daugther! And tell Tina that she will see grandchildren someday - they are the best! Just can't get enough of our grandsons!

    Thanks Val
I'm giving her shots right up to Sunday and her treatment is on Monday so hopefully that will do the trick. But even after the last round of 5 shots her count went lower than it ever has so I'm a little worried about the after affects of this treatment. She usually bounces back fairly well not go backwards with her counts. I'm worried to say the least. I sure hope you are feeling better Val. Again thanks for listening to my ramblings ladies.

    Prayers to you all

Hi Dave ad Tina, know this
Hi Dave ad Tina, know this is off-topic, but I just had to say how envious I am of Tina to have such a good, proactive husband! You genuinly seen to care about your wife's health, well-being, and trying to see she is taken good care of. You are worth your weight in gold! Best, debrajo

Thank you debrajo my wife is everything to me.
I can't even imagine my life without her. Thats why I will do anything in my power to make sure she's as comfortable as possible and sticking around for along time. I feel really bad for those here who do not have a rock in there life to help get through this.

    Advice for caregivers?
Tina is very blessed to have you! I too have a wonderful and supportive husband who has been by my side every second of this journey, but I must admit I am getting a little worried about him. Not that he complains at all, but I feel like, especially since I have found this site to vent and communicate with people who really understand, that he could use someplace to go to talk to other husbands or caregivers to share their feelings. Do you know of a forum for the husbands/caregivers??

At the bottom of the list of
At the bottom of the list of cancer support boards there is a support board for caregivers. Your husband may like to "troll" there and see if he likes it! Best, debrajo
