IBS and raw veggies

Hi Ladies,

I have had IBS for several years. Compared to many people, my symptoms are mild. However, the more frequently I eat salads and other fresh raw veggies, the more often I experience diarrhea. Does anyone else have this problem?

I am seriously considering purchasing a Ninja for Vitamix blender. I have read that it is easier for the body digest the vitamins, etc. if they are blended and drank. Does anyone have any info. on this?

Thanks,

Carla

    IBS
I had a similar problem for about 17 years. I could not eat dairy or leafy greens and alternated between constipation and diarrhea. Then I did a candida diet and cleanse for one month. The IBS disappeared over the next few months, never to return. This was 14 years ago. Something is not working right in your digestive system. I've found a vast improvement to leaky gut by following a diet for autoimmunity found in the book "Autoimmune: The Cause and the Cure." One of the components of the diet is to add raw fermented foods to your meals, like raw sauerkraut, raw pickles, and keifer (I use cultured coconut milk instead). It might be worth a try to get your digestive system back on track.
