Have anyone heard of "Maca Root" and if so what about it and estrogen + breast cancer?

Just needed more information on it,I got it in a health food store for low libido,it's gluten free, soy free.I thought maybe someone had some info from a naturalist or homeopathic dr.~~MollyZ~~

    Try and goggle it online....I'm sure you'll find something about it....but if you are having any treatments or are taking any medications( including Tamoxifen) it would be best to check with your oncologist before taking any kind of herbal remedies.....best to be safe...

    I also searched it at MD Anderson's website and got the name Cat's Claw when the information popped up.

    They had a bit more information on it.

    I would ask your oncologists or doctor's about it as there can be some negative side effects.

    Hi Nancy, i did goggle it but so much always comes up from doing that i wanted some info from somebody maybe had heard of it or a reputable website on it, I'll be a 2yr. cancer suvivor in May and i am on femara. thanks so much. ~~MollyZ~~
