4 Years NED

Just had my yearly scan and Endoscopy at MD Anderson and everything looks great. I had the IL in 08 and so far, I have not had one complication. I can eat whatever I want and almost to the point of preop eating.

All of you are in my prayers and I wish everyone the very best. While I won't turn my back on the beast, I have to think that my chances are pretty good. Just remember, they have come a long way with this cancer, so there is a chance for a good outcome, even though it is a hard road.

    Great News!
I am so happy for you, but this news also gives me hope. I was the same as you, T3N1M0, but I am only 2 1/2 years out from diagnosis. My IL was in Feb. 2010. I LOVE hearing that yours was in 2008 and you're still doing great.

Thank you so much for sharing. And congratulations on the clean scan. May you have years and years of NED in your future!

I'm sure you appreciate every day you wake up as being one of the lucky ones. And you are. I only wish my mom could have had the same outcome. Please keep posting the good news. Newcomers need to see more hopeful stories like yours.

No, we don't turn our backs, because we know the reality of what can happen. I try to keep a positive attitude. Four years is pretty awesome!
