Tomorrow - First CT since trying votrient, then nexavar. Off both drugs now due to side effects. Will find out tomorrow what to do next??? It has been an up and down medication
cycle - hoping that it levels out.

My prayer for you is that the scan comes back clear and there is no need for you to take anything else.

One comfort, adobe, is that it's not too clear what the latencies are between administration of these drugs and their beneficial effects. You might have gained a lot of benefit already and may continue to do so even after having come off the meds. Effects can be cumulative and can be delayed. Also, if the drugs have been working they've given your immune system a potential helping hand. Coming off them then cuts the side-effects that have been undermining your immune response meantime and allows it to resume the fight against a weakened enemy. So, both the Votrient and the Nexavar may have been of use. I sincerely hope so anyway. You could watch 50 : 50 which I hear is good but maybe a good bit of old Laurel and Hardy might be more salutary.

    Good thoughts sent your way....
Good luck tomorrow, Adobe. Are you going to UCSF? My son goes there...not for kc, but for other kidney issues. I really like everyone there.
Anyways, sleep well. Thinking good thoughts for you......

Can't wait to hear some more good news.

Think also of the inspiring exploits of our poster boy on MDX-1106 - that's enough to put anyone in good heart.

Read your info many times about the drug effects. Very encouraging, since when I am not taking something I get quite concerned about what is stopping the disease.

Now, about YOU! We are all here with you, and we all need you to keep us on on track- so while you are taking care of yourself, do not forget about all your friends out here, we need you!

Always appreciate your information - very comforting about the the benificial effects of these drugs, and the that the effects can be cumulative and delayed. Laurel and Hardy, thanks for reminding me, I like them and my husband Loves them!!
