Tis the season...

As the Christmas spirit will be flowing over the holidays I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and driving.

As you may know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years, myself included.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers and some rather nice claret.

Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home.

I arrived home safely and without incident .... which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one.

A little Christmas cheer from me to you,

Gary

Well done Gary - beautifully delivered - I, for one, didn't see it coming and was growing increasingly concerned! So glad the story had a happy ending!

    Suprised
If you think you were grateful to arrive safely, how do you imagine the bus passengers felt? :-)

Good one - hadn't spotted the scope for squeezing yet another smile out of it. It all helps to keep a good sense of perspective.

    Surprised...
Sorta reminds me of the comic who said he would prefer to die in his sleep like his grandfather as opposed to being wide awake and screaming like the passengers in his car at the time. LOL Gary

Gary - please stop - some of us still have stitches - and I nearly fell off my chair laughing!

Okay, one more, just for us golfers...
    Advice for golfers:

Back straight, knees bent, feet shoulder width apart.
    Form a loose grip.
    Keep your head down.
    Avoid a quick back swing.
    Stay out of the water.
    Try not to hit anyone.
If you are taking too long, please let others go ahead of you.
Don't stand directly in front of others.
Quiet please!... while others are preparing to go.
    Don't take extra strokes.

Very good. Now flush the urinal, go outside and tee off.

I hope you get your stitches out soon, this is kinda fun,

    I lied...
FIVE RULES TO REMEMBER IN LIFE

    1. Money cannot buy happiness, but its more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle.
    2. Forgive your enemy, but remember the ****'s name.
    3. Help someone when they are in trouble and they will remember you when they're in trouble again.
    4. Many people are alive only because it's illegal to shoot them.
    5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk.
