Hi! I am a 33 year old female who was diagnosed with an islet cell tumor of the pancreas a few months after I had my baby last year. In september i underwent a whipple operation and i an feeling great again. The other day i went in for a CT scan as a part of my 6 month check up and they found that some of the lymph nodes around the liver are swollen. I cant see the surgeon for a week and I have a PET scan on tuesday. Does anyone know what this might mean??? Is this normal after surgery?? Could it be microscopic disease?? Any info would be helpfull.
