I knew the Hida Scan was done for gallbladder, but didn't realize the scan
also checks the Billary tract. Perhaps your doctor will order a Hida Scan also.
I just did some fast research, and pasting what I have found. Since I had this scan
years ago, I wanted to research again.

HIDA imaging is done by a nuclear scanner, which takes pictures of the patient's biliary tract over the course of about two hours.
